Another Open Tournament has been and gone and we thank everyone who helped make it a success, especially in this our 60th Anniversary year.  The weather on Saturday was hot, hot, hot making setting up a more pleasant  experience.  We had our usual sausage fest, courtesy of Mickey and Betty, and this year everything seemed to run smoothly and we managed to finish quite early.

Sunday loomed overcast, and yes it poured down for most of the day.  It was wet, wet, wet.  Inspite of the weather everyone stayed and finished shooting their rounds.  So a big thank you to you all.  We had excellent caterers who kept us well supplied with hot food and drink, so thank you to them.  Thanks also to our judges, lady paramount, raffle organiser, club captain, tournament organiser, scorers and anyone who helped out in anyway.  Oh yes and the "goodie bags" seemed to go down very well.

Kevin Miller took some excellent photos of our Open.  The link to his site is below.  Do have a look as they conjure up the day perfectly.
